When looking to ease your bouts of anxiety, do you turn to natural and holistic cures?
What about a bottle of pills?
Here are some killer tips to get you back on your feet after an anxiety attack, or to help prevent one from occurring in the first place.
MOVE INTO NATURE
Being in a natural environment automatically raises your vibration! This happens because you then slow down and move to the tune of nature. Also, you see beautiful things all around you. The air is cleaner, the birds are singing. Everything seems to be the perfect reason to smile. Sometimes, it is just easy to forget how a little bit of nature time can do so much.
SIP SOME HERBAL TEA
Get out your favorite mug. Boil a pot of water, and pour it over your favorite bag of herbal tea. Something is so comforting and so alive about a good cup of herbal tea. It also does wonders for your anxiety by being a comforting and uplifting natural option which won’t leave you with a hangover like alcohol. Also, pausing to enjoy a cup of tea causes you to slow down and take things a little less seriously. Relax, and take this as an opportunity to take in some deep breaths.
USE ESSENTIAL OILS
Nothing is quite as instant as an essential oil for anxiety relief. Gain some insight and knowledge on how these amazing oils can change your life. Try oils such as Lavender, Chamomile, and Citrus for a calm uplifting warm hug. The oils don’t take long to sink in – they’re fast acting in fact. Just a drop or two on your wrist can travel to your brain in seconds. Also try dropping the oils in your palm and inhaling deeply. You can also try buying a diffuser to transport the oils all around your room in the air.
STOP STRESSING OUT
Seriously. It’s easier said than done, of course – but how many things are you stressing about that you really can’t control. If you’re like the rest of us, probably quite a few. Simply realize that some things are out of your control, and you can trim some stress of by accepting that. Stop wasting time fretting over what you can’t control. Life is a journey and not one to be spent wasted frazzling over trivial things.
MOVE YOUR BODY
Exercise can make your efforts to become anxiety free much, much easier. Exercise not only changes the way your body is – it changes the way your mind works. If you are feeling an anxiety attack coming on, move your body in exercise for 30 minutes to 1 hour and revisit the issue. There is no way that this will not make you feel better. Find a way to exercise that suits you – not everyone likes to lift, run, or do yoga. Do what works for you – but actually do it.
