Who says introverts don’t have a lot to say only because they don’t talk as much as others?
Actually, it may be the other way around. Sometimes, the less a person chooses to speak up, the more meaningful things they have to say.
Only because introverts are highly selective on whom they open up to, doesn’t mean they don’t know how to express themselves. In fact, they are capable of declaring their place in this world using many other forms of expression, apart from talking. If you are an introvert yourself, then you are definitely aware of this.
Here are 5 reasons why, even though you are an introvert, you still have a lot to say:
1. As an introvert, you speak up when it truly matters.
Introverts are people who raise their voices only when they know it would make a difference. They say what’s on their minds only when it really matters. Even though being in the center of attention is something they usually avoid, if they are convinced their words would make a positive change, they wouldn’t hesitate to speak up.
2. You use other ways to express your nature.
Expressing yourself is not only about verbalizing your thoughts, and you are perfectly aware of that. The simple act of talking is only one of the many ways a person can assert their place in this world. For instance, you could be artistic and declare your presence through painting, playing an instrument, singing, dancing, or whatever form of art your soul connects to. Or you might be a keen writer with a unique talent to turn words into magic. The point is that even if you don’t like talking as much as others do, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have a lot to say.
3. Being an introvert means you have an inner world richer than most people can imagine.
There is an entire universe hiding behind introverts’ eyes that most people don’t know about. If you have the chance to take a look inside their world, you would see numerous fascinating stories, rich culture, vivid intelligence, and unparalleled creativity. With every second, you would be more and more mesmerized by their beautiful minds. And as you gaze into their eyes, you would see that they have a lot more to say than those who rarely keep their mouths shut.
4. You open your soul only to people you can fully trust.
Being an introvert, you are incredibly cautious of who is allowed to enter your life and get to know you on a deeper level. While some extroverts are willing to open up to people outside their inner circle, you prefer to keep the vulnerable version of yourself to those you are absolutely sure you can rely on. And that’s absolutely amazing, because, in today’s world, you can never be sure whose intentions are genuine. So, you are doing a wonderful job protecting your soul by opening it only to the ones you find worthy of your trust.
5. As an introvert, you express through learning.
The more you learn about life, the more you fall in love with it. Your curiosity is leading you towards exciting journeys you are more than happy to share with your closest friends. You love to absorb new information through various methods, including listening, watching, and reading. Diving into a pile of books is probably one of your most favorite hobbies. And it’s not because you want to avoid interacting with people, but because you cannot wait to enrich your mind with new inspiring stories.
Having the desire to express yourself doesn’t contradict being an introvert by nature. Besides, as we already know, there are many other ways of communicating and letting your light shine apart from vocalizing your thoughts.
So, yes, introverts have a lot to say. They just choose to say it in a different way. And, frankly, that simply reveals how incredibly intelligent and creative they are.
