WATCH: Tucker Carlson Airs Never Before Seen Footage From Kyle Rittenhouse Shooting in Kenosha

A new video regarding Kyle Rittenhouse and the Kenosha shooting has been released.

  • The video has reportedly been released by the #FightBack organization.
  • The footage could support the claim that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense.
  • The question remains: Was the shooting first-degree murder or an act of self-defense?

An organization raising funds for Rittenhouse’s legal defense released the 11-minute video.

The footage was released by the #FightBack Foundation which, The Post Millenial explains, is ‘a free-speech group that has raised nearly $2 million in funding for Rittenhouse’s legal fees’. This 11-minute video has raised questions about what actually happened on the night of the Kenosha shooting as Daily Mail writes that Rittenhouse’s ‘defense team argues that other shots were fired before and after the first fatal shooting’. The 17-year-old currently faces several felony charges: first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, and first-degree reckless endangerment. However, according to FOX News, the footage released by the nonprofit organization could support the claims that Rittenhouse had acted in self-defense.

Rittenhouse had allegedly gone to protect Kenosha businesses from vandalism.

The Daily Mail further reported that the 17-year-old had said that ‘he and his friends were called upon by a business owner in Kenosha to help maintain the peace after several businesses were burned by protesters in preceding nights’. Taking this further, on the night of the shooting, Rittenhouse had a first aid kit and an AR-15 style rifle; it must be noted that in Wisconsin it is illegal to possess and carry a dangerous weapon under the age of 18.

FOX News’ Tucker Carlson commented on the newly released video:

In the video, one can see Joseph Rosenbaum chasing Rittenhouse when a single gunshot is fired. It is after this that, according to FOX News, ‘a surrounded Rittenhouse squeezed four shots in Rosenbaum’s direction’. After Rittenhouse’s four shots, an unknown shooter had fired several more shots:

Kyle Rittenhouse fired four shots initially that night […] Another four were fired. We still don’t know who fired them, no one else has been arrested or charged. […] So that’s what happened that night in Kenosha, on camera. You can assess for yourself what you think of it. […] As we said tonight, only Kyle Rittenhouse has been charged, so the question before the court is, did Kyle Rittenhouse commit first-degree murder or was it something else? Was it self-defense?
