RNC Speaker Endorses Absurd Voting System Where Husband Decides Wife’s Vote – And That’s Not Even Her Worst Idea
Anti-abortion activist Abby Johnson has made numerous misogynistic, sexist and racist claims.
The Republican National Convention (RNC) speaker has deeply infuriated and profoundly disgusted millions of people after she took to Twitter to voice her controversial opinions. Johnson expressed her support for household voting where one person from each household is allowed to vote. Naturally, people questioned Johnson, asking what happens if a husband and wife have different political views and opinions. To this, Johnson responded, saying: “In a Godly household, the husband would have the final say”. In other words, Johnson is ultimately dismissing women’s voices and rights, saying that their vote is not as important as a man’s.

These tweets come from Abby Johnson, the woman whose website claims that she offers ‘a new kind of feminism’.
On her website (abbyjohnson.org), Johnson voices her anti-abortion, pro-life opinions as she writes: ‘Abortion exploits women‘, ‘We’re pro-life because we’re pro-love‘, ‘Every life is worth fighting for‘, ‘Women can’t do everything men can. And vice versa‘, ‘Being a stay-at-home mom is exciting, not embarrassing‘ and ‘We show our brains, not our skin‘.
In addition to this, Johnson has also made racial comments regarding her own brown son.
VICE uploaded a video on Youtube in which Abby Johnson discusses her 5 sons, one of which is biracial. She explains that ‘right now, Jude is an adorable, perpetually tan-looking little brown boy, but one day, he is going to grow up and he is going to be a tall, probably sort of large, intimidating looking maybe brown man‘ whereas her other boys will look like ‘nerdy white guys‘.
What is worse, Johnson states that she would not be angry that a police officer would know that “statistically my brown son is more likely to commit a violent offence over my white sons“. She even claims that a police officer would be ‘smart‘ to be on high-alert around her brown son.
