No matter how hard you try, you won’t ever be good enough for some people
No matter how hard you tried and how hard you loved… Often without getting any love in return. How much you have prayed that love can transform those around you. You have given people too many chances because you have always seen true love as the only thing capable of giving you the courage and strength to continue the fight… True love was and is the only reason you live.
But here’s the soul-crushing reality…
Regardless of how much you try, for some people, you will never be good enough.
You selflessly give your whole heart, offer them your soul as a sanctuary, shower them with love and affection, but nothing you do will ever be enough to satisfy them.
You may offer your whole world to them on a silver plate, and they will, without a shred of gratitude, always ask for more.
The reality is, whatever you do, it won’t be good enough for those people.
You won’t ever be good enough for a person who is not ready to love. Regardless of how much love you have to offer from that little beautiful heart of yours, someone who is incapable of love will never be able to appreciate yours.
You won’t ever be good enough for a person who just doesn’t feel compelled to make it work between the two of you. You won’t ever be good enough for a person who refuses to choose you and does not want to love you, but only to possess your body and control your mind. You won’t ever be enough for a person who does share your intentions.
And the faster you get to terms with this, the better off you will be.
Accept the truth. Regardless of what you do, regardless of how much love you give, you won’t ever be good enough for some.
You won’t ever be good enough for those who cannot see the true you, and those who pretend to be your friends but judge you behind your back. You won’t ever be good enough for those who are immature, and those who were not meant to be part of your experience.
And that’s alright. You shouldn’t wish to be.
That is the only way you will realize that maybe you have chosen the wrong path. That you are wasting your love on undeserving people at the worst possible time. You must understand that not everyone you meet is supposed to stay in your life. And that maybe you are still searching in the wrong places.
You won’t ever be good enough for these people because you are special, and deserve much more than that.
