It’s Alright to Let Yourself Fall Apart

“Rain makes me feel less alone. All rain is, is a cloud- falling apart, and pouring its shattered pieces down on top of you. It makes me feel good to know I’m not the only thing that falls apart . It makes me feel better to know other things in nature can shatter.”
― Lone Alaskan Gypsy

It’s alright to fall apart. It’s alright to feel down, misunderstood, and lonely.

It’s alright to be heartbroken. To have your dreams destroyed and feeling like you just can’t hold on any longer.

And instead of seeing heartbreak as your ultimate end, you should see it as an invitation to travel inside yourself and heal.

With regards to relationships, it’s alright for things to fall apart to see where you stand, to see how strong your love truly was.

But, you should also keep in mind that the road your heart is taking is vast and never-ending. And your heart needs your strength more than ever.

You never know in what form love will visit you next week, month, or year. If you put boundaries on your feelings however, you will only harm yourself. You will betray your heart by expecting only one type of love and pushing out everything else that comes to you.

Before you choose to heal your heart, the most crucial thing you should know is that you are made out of love. Also, be thankful for all the love and kindness in your life, no matter what shape or form it may come in. Seek for guidance there because love is boundless and eternal.

And if you fell into the trap of believing that after the heartbreak your emotions will weaken, and you’ll become a colder person – you are wrong.

Because all that makes you human is still inside you.

Because even in the most difficult times love is pushing us to feel more, to be more active and open to more love. When the old dies, the new is born.

While it may be scary and disorienting to the mind and what has come before, the power of the new is pure and overwhelming. Trust in the light of disintegration. For everything that is less than whole must be shed and out of the depths of the unknown, love will be born in the most astonishing ways.

That is why it is vital for you to keep your heart open. To let love find its way inside your heart and heal your wounds.
