On Saturday, a couple and their two small children were found dead in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
ABC News reported that according to Police Capt. Todd Enzbrenner, the mother of the adult male victim arrived at the family’s home and found her son, 31, her grandchildren, 2 and 4, and their mother, 41, dead. The grandmother had been told that she was to babysit the children; however, nobody had answered the phone when she had called to confirm the plans. It was then that the woman had gone to the family’s home and discovered what had happened, police reported.
Enzbrenner explained that police believe there is no threat to the public.
Police have not identified the names of the victims and they have not yet found a murder weapon. Therefore, they are unsure who is responsible for the murder of the family members. Nevertheless, according to the New York Post, authorities have called the incident an apparent triple murder-suicide. Enzbrenner further explained that the bodies of the victims were found “all over the house”.
This is quite a tragedy for the community. It’s hard for the family. It’s hard for my officers. It’s hard for the medical staff.
