Sometimes when things from the movies become a reality it is not as cool as you’d think it would be. I mean, the idea of your toys coming to life or visiting aliens planets seems great in the movies, but it’d probably be a let-down in real life. Well, there is one idea spawned from the movies that is becoming a relaity, and it is going to be amazing: giant fighting robots.
Yep, you read that right – giant, man-piloted fighting robots.
On June 30th of this year, the team at Megabots, Inc. issued a challenge to Suidobashi Heavy Industries in Japan that basically said: “You have a giant robot, we have a giant robot, so we must make them fight”. Personally, I can’t think of a better idea! The challenge for the robot dual is set to take place in 2016, and from what I have seen of the robots, this is going to be incredible.
