Donald Trump is now ‘truly relaxed’ after leaving the White House and ‘happier’ that he’s off social media

Donald Trump is allegedly “happier now than he’s been in some time”.

  • Jason Miller, Trump’s former campaign strategist, revealed that Trump is relaxed and happy to be off social media.
  • Nevertheless, he plans to reappear on social media when he feels ready.
  • Miller revealed that Trump is debating starting his own platform after Twitter and Facebook banned him.

On January 20, Trump left Washington DC and flew to Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

Jason Miller, Trump’s former campaign strategist and senior advisor, spoke to several media outlets and revealed that the former president is “happier now than he’s been in some time”. Donald Trump left the White House and Washington DC on January 20. Rather than attending President Joe Biden’s inauguration, Trump flew to Mar-a-Lago, Florida. Speaking to the UK’s Sunday Times, Miller disclosed that Trump “was in a very good mood upon leaving [the White House] and there were some very tender moments with his family.”

Trump is relieved to be off social media.

Now that Trump has been banned permanently from Twitter and indefinitely from Facebook, he is reportedly “relaxed”. Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey wrote: “I do not celebrate or feel pride in our having to ban @realDonaldTrump from Twitter. I believe this was the right decision for Twitter.” Similarly, Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sheryl Sandberg told NBC News that there are “no plans” to remove Trump’s ban soon. Despite this, Miller explained that it is “the first time in years” that he has seen Trump “truly relaxed”.

Miller revealed that when Trump reemerges on social media, he might do so on his own social media platform.

I would expect that we will see the president reemerge on social media. Whether that’s joining an existing platform or creating his new platform, there are a number of different options and a number of different meetings that they’ve been having on that front. Nothing is imminent on that. […] All options are on the table. A number of things are being discussed. Stay tuned there because you know he’s going to be back on social media. We’re just kind of figuring out which avenue makes the most sense.
