A manager caught her new employee dancing in the parking lot after being offered a job.
After hiring a new employee, the manager of The Spot Sports Bar and Grill in Georgia looked at the CCTV and spotted her doing a celebratory dance in the parking lot. The video depicts the successful candidate calmly walking out of the establishment, stopping, looking around, breaking into a celebratory dance, and then walking off in a professional manner. Upon seeing this, the manager (@dakara_spence) recorded the footage, posted it on her social media, and captioned it: “So I just hired this young girl and this was her response”. Unsurprisingly, millions of people were quick to view and comment on this heart-warming footage.
The video quickly went viral and reached the employee herself.
Shortly after its upload, the video racked up millions of views and one of these viewers was the candidate herself. Commenting on the video, @Kalaxxyy had written “Lmaoo! I Had To Do It! I Thought Nodody Saw! I Was Wrong. Thank You Tho!” In addition to her comment, numerous other people posted their thoughts with one Instagram user writing “You won’t regret hiring her. She loves the job, she will work passionately… You’ll see.” Furthermore, according to METRO, the employee spoke about the video and her celebratory dance as she said:
I just be doing these stupid little dances like everywhere, every day. I didn’t know I was getting caught or recorded or anything […] I am so happy and thankful for that opportunity she gave me. She called me this morning like ‘I caught your dance yesterday’ and she was like ‘oh my gosh you’re going viral, you went on TikTok and you were 20 million views’. I was like ‘what? Nah, you’re lying’.
