England’s prestigious Glastonbury Festival is becoming the center of a new sign of hope for the people of the universe. As of right this second more than 81,000 people are petitioning to have Kanye West removed from the headlining spot Saturday night, and nothing in the world makes me happier.

According to Petition creator, Neil Lonsdale:
“Kanye West is an insult to music fans all over the world. We spend hundreds of pounds to attend glasto, and by doing so, expect a certain level of entertainment.
Kanye has been very outspoken on his views on music….he should listen to his own advice and pass his headline slot on to someone deserving!
Let’s prevent this musical injustice now!”
Lonsdale went on to post an update that said:
“Mar 16, 2015 — Thanks for signing my petition, but for this to really make an impact, I need you to share it where you can! The Eavis family do great work, but this egotistical, maniacal, disgrace was a clear oversight.
There is still time to correct this.”
So let me tell you why this petition is restoring my faith in humanity:
Kanye West, in my opinion, is the worst kind of person that there is. His ego is so overinflated, that it amazes me he can get his head through doorways. I think his ego and Kim’s ass are having a competition to see who can get more ridiculously over-inflated. Between his antics at the Grammy’s, which he is now banned from, and all the other self-loving narcissism that “Yeezy” is associated with, I wouldn’t mind if he just faded out of existence for good. One thing about music is that is purely fan driven, so why not have a little humility, instead of trying to convince the world that you are the greatest thing to happen to the planet since the formation of an oxygen right atmosphere.
That’s what makes this petition awesome. People are actually standing up and saying “we don’t like this guy”, and doing something more than just complaining about him. This is a direct message to music promoters and to Kanye himself that people DO NOT LIKE HIM.
