Woman Corners Fiancé Working at Target and Demands They Get Married or She’d Break Up With Him
It isn’t a common experience for us to witness a marriage ultimatum taking place at Target in the middle of a pandemic.
But some people saw exactly that just a few days ago.
A fresh viral video shows a woman dressed in a wedding dress confronting her boyfriend, who appears to be a Target employee, and demanding that he marries her on the spot. Her ultimatum to him is quite the scene to watch.
The show kicks off with someone recording from the side. They come up on the “bride”, a maid of honor can be seen, as well as some sort of on officiant. They all gather around a Target worker, and the lady in the wedding dress confronts him.
“You put this ring on my finger two years ago,” she can be heard saying from behind her protective mask, “and it’s time to do it or get out. We’re getting married right now, or I’m leaving. I’m out. I’m done. Like, if you don’t marry me this second… I brought the pastor. I brought Emily. She’s my bridesmaid.”

It is then that she sees that she is being recorded, waves to the camera, and continues talking to him.
“I’m just finally making him commit, you know?” she says. “We’re getting married now, or it’s over.”

Her man then says they should talk about it outside, and the group starts walking down past the camera to get some privacy.
TikTok user Ashley shared the footage to her page with a caption saying,
“Part 1. The best part of my week! Watched this woman hunt her man down that works at Target!!”
Her hashtags say that this took place at a Target in LA. The video has so far amassed almost 7 million views on TikTok, and almost the same amount on Twitter, where it was re-shared.
Some people questioned the truthfulness of the video.
“What pastor would agree to that?” one commenter asked. “I hope this was a prank that the random passerby who filmed it wasn’t in on. No way she is making that heavy of a play for the dude working at Target.”

Meanwhile, others thought that in case that it was the real deal you should not have to corner your fiancé like that while he’s on the job.
“Ladies, I know you’ve invested time in the relationship, but just move on!” one person wrote. “In no time, you’ll have a whole new life and be completely baffled you wasted so much time. You could probably pick up a new bearded white Target employee on the way out! It’s a buyer’s market!”
