Video case study: Why wearing face masks is crucial against the spread of coronavirus

UNSW researchers have shown the actual dangers of refusing to wear a face mask.

With the coronavirus pandemic, times have changed. Wearing a protective face mask has become the ‘new normal’ as it’s a significant measure helping us fight the deadly virus.

Shockingly, there are still many residents who refuse to wear face masks, believing they don’t do much in protecting their health. Luckily, doctors and scientists are still working hard on educating the population about the immense influence of COVID-19.

In a video case study, experts from the University of New South Wales have displayed how face masks minimize the spread of the virus, 9GAG reports.

Speaking, coughing, and sneezing are the three actions the study challenges different face coverings against. And it comes as no surprise that unmasked protection is the most dangerous one.
