There are many things in nature we are unaware of, and one thing that is definitely a big mystery is what the inside of a kangaroo’s pouch looks like.
Many of us likely believed it was a cozy, fluffy pillow pocket for the newborn kangaroo to stay safe in. But we could not have been more wrong.
A recent video made by Alexandra Kalin is proof that a real kangaroo pouch is more like a hole on the inside of their body where the offspring can stay in.
The clip has also been circulating on Twitter, where it left people surprised and confused.
And if you thought that was weird enough, just wait to see what the baby kangaroo looks like on the inside of the pouch prior to its full form…

If you think about it, it’s better that the baby has a place to stay which functions as more than just a furry pocket. Hopefully we all learned something new by watching this video.
