A 12-year-old boy is set to make $400,000 in just a couple of months after he saw big success in the coding world.
Benyamin Ahmed has found a way to use his talents, specifically in the field of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), to earn $400,000 for just two months of work.
Armed with knowledge about HTML and CSS since he was 5 years of age, Benyamin is now able to perform much more difficult work, including JavaScript. Eventually, he familiarized himself with smart contracts code, which lies at the heart of an NFT.
In an interview with CNBC, the boy shared his story of success.
“I first learned about NFTs earlier this year. I got fascinated with NFTs because you can easily transfer the ownership of an NFT by the blockchain.”
Recently, Benyamin launched his own NFT set called Minecraft Yee Haa. The collection features 40 custom-designed characters.
He says the collection was “created after spending too many hours playing Minecraft.” ‘
“My brother and my dad were very excited and fascinated at how they came out.”
And while the Minecraft Yee Haa collection was not the success he’d hoped it would be, his next project called Weird Whales has given him a lot of hope. Weird Whales, consisting of 3,350 pixelated whales, sold out in just nine hours and earned him 80 ether, which is now worth $255,000.
Benyamin also earns 2.5% from the resale market, which got him 30 more ether from the collection, worth $95,000. This all comes up to $350,000 total and according to his own estimations, Benyamin is to earn more than $400,000 by the end of August.

The 12-year-old said that he doesn’t plan to convert any of his cryptocurrency into flat money and he believes he’ll be a big shot one day.
“If I carry on as I’ve been, I might end up like other tech entrepreneurs out there like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos,” he said.
