Pedophile ‘hunters’ are luring potential child predators by posing as a 14-year-old boy on dating apps.

In Perth, Australia, a duo of vigilantes dubbed the ‘Perth Paedo Hunters’ have been tricking pedophiles by creating a fake persona of a teenage boy on social media. As Daily Mail reports, the pair has even filmed their latest hunt of an alleged predator at Creyk Park in Kelmscott.
The footage reveals a 61-year-old man sitting alone on a park bench while evidently waiting for someone.
As the duo approaches the potential pedophile, they ask: “Are you sure you’re not here to meet a 14-year-old boy?”
Despite the man’s desperate attempts to deny any connection to a teenage boy, the hunters were intelligent enough to get him to admit his heinous crime. They then performed a citizens’ arrest before calling the police.
The police allegedly found the sexually explicit messages that the pair exchanged with the 61-year-old, who believed was texting a 14-year-old boy.
Atrociously, in one of the messages, the man who was convinced he was texting a teen, said: “I love young.”
Reportedly, the predator was charged with a child abuse offense. Additionally, he has been refused bail and is due to appear in court in November.
To trick the potential child abuser, the ‘Perth Paedo Hunters’ posed as Jarrod, a 14-year-old boy, on Grindr. As per 9News, the man was completely aware he was exchanging messages with an underaged child. While most of the content was ‘too graphic to publish,’ they posted a part of the conversation, which reveals that the 61-year-old knew he was talking to a teen.
“Yeah I’m 14,” Jarrod typed.
“I love young,” the man replied.
“You don’t mind I’m only 14?” Jarrod typed.
“I am kool … R U free now babe?” (sic), the man replied.
“Well I’m home alone coz mum and sister just left to go to my aunties for the day,” (sic) Jarrod typed.
After they arranged the Creyk Park meeting, the duo confronted the sick man last Thursday morning.
The ‘Perth Paedo Hunters’ say they have been luring potential predators to help the community.
Although the vigilantes prefer to keep their identities private, they claim they will continue to hunt for child predators. Their main goal is to raise awareness so parents could be informed of the risk online.
“These are the kind of people that are trying to talk to your children. You want to be careful what your kids do online … always look out for them.”
