One of UK’s most monstrous pedophiles, Richard Huckle, who raped and molested 200 children abroad is stabbed to death in prison

One UK’s worst pedophiles who abused around 200 children abroad – even keeping a ‘Pedopoints ledger’- has been stabbed to death in prison, according to reports.

Richard Huckle from Ashford in Kent, who was commonly known as the ‘gap year pedophile, ‘ bragged on the ‘dark web’ about his horrifying sex crimes against Malaysian children, some of whom were as young as six months.

At the time of his 2014 arrest by the National Crime Agency, he had been keeping a pedophile’s diary.

The former photographer and English teacher was put behind bars in June of 2016 after pleading guilty to a large number of twisted crimes against children under the ages of 12.

Huckle (33) was given 22 life sentences and ordered to serve a minimum of 25 years for his rape campaign which lasted almost a decade.

He was discovered lying dead in his prison cell at HMP Full Sutton in East Yorkshire last week after being stabbed with a handcrafted knife, The Sun reported.

HMP is home to some of the most extreme and dangerous criminals in the country and can hold up to 560 people.

Huckle’s first visit to Malaysia took place during a gap teaching year when he was 19-years-old.

He continued his grooming spree as a respected Christian English teacher and philanthropist.

A number of 23 young children from impoverished Christian communities in Kuala Lumpur were identified in 71 charges, even though Huckle’s total which he recorded in his ”Pedopoints ledger’ was much higher.

Five of the kids were living in a care home and on one occasion Huckle took a little girl out to celebrate her fifth birthday and molested her at his Kuala Lumpur house.

As he continued committing his disgusting crimes, he tried to start a crowd-funding business using the pictures he took.

Huckle, who had studied IT at a Malaysian university, was handcuffed by the National Crime Agency when he arrived at Gatwick Airport on his way to spend the Christmas holidays with his family back in 2014.

The officers took hold of Huckle’s encrypted laptop and were able to find more than 20000 disturbing photos and videos even though there were some files they weren’t able to crack.

They also found his pedophile diary called Pedophiles And Poverty: Child Lover Guide and a ‘Pedopoints ledger’ in which he gave himself bonus points for the abuse of 191 boys and girls.

In online posts, he bragged:

“Impoverished kids are definitely much easier to seduce than middle-class western kids.”

Commenting on one of his child victims, he wrote:

“I’d hit the jackpot, a 3yo girl as loyal to me as my dog and nobody seemed to care.”

Huckle crowd-funded the release of distasteful images of the toddler girl in exchange for Bitcoins and was able to raise more than 100% of his target amount.

His mother and father were so disturbed by the confession of his crimes that they begged officers to take him away and supported his prosecution.

In a post from 2013, he made clear that he planned to marry one of his victims so he can get his hands on more children.

After Huckle was sentenced three years ago,  judge Peter Rook QC told him his “self-delusion knows no bounds” and the 60-page pedophile diary he had created was a “truly evil document”.

The judge told Huckle:

“You were and are sexually obsessed with children. You have spent years abusing them. In one of your postings you stated that you had become consumed by your paedophilia.

It is clear from your postings on hidden encrypted paedophile websites on the dark web, and from the manual you were in the process of drafting, that your life revolved around your obsession with your own sexual gratification by child sex abuse.

“It is also clear that, had you not been arrested, you planned to continue the same lifestyle using the expertise that you were keen to show off to and share with other abusers so as to continue your sexual exploitation of the children of such communities.”
