Mom pranks daughters into believing they’ll turn into octopuses for stealing her brownie

A mom told her kids they were going to turn into octopuses for eating her brownie… And they believed her!

In a now-viral TikTok video, a mom can be heard telling her daughters they are going to turn into octopuses as a consequence of secretly eating her brownie. The mom, known  by her followers as Jewelry Box, explains:

“My kids ate my brownie that I hid so I decided to prank them.”

The hilarious clip starts with the woman telling her kids:

“Y’all going to turn into octopuses by midnight. How much did you eat?”

One of the girls then replies:

“I ate one bite. Is that good?”

Realizing her daughters are buying the octopus story, the mom continues:

“So, I have to take you out to the sea?”

Her daughter, obviously frightened by the possibility of her turning into a sea creature, pleads:

“No, please! Is the doctor going to kill me?”

After the mom replies: “I don’t know,” she asks: “Who ate the most?”

One of the girls repeatedly says through tears: “I ate one bite, I ate one bite.” She also asks: “Is that good? So I won’t turn into the octopus?”

The mom then points at the other girl, exclaiming: “She already growing scales. Can you see it on her cheek?”

Believing their mom’s octopus story, both girls grow seemingly terrified they might turn into eight-limbed residents of the sea.

In a follow-up video, captioned: “These kids terrorize me daily so I want to get on their level and play too,” the mom carries on with the prank. However, at the end of the clip, she tells her daughters:

“I’m playing, y’all not going to turn into octopuses.”
