A TikTok video went viral after it showed a McDonald’s employee sticking her hand in her pants before serving french fries to a customer.
Needless to say, people were appalled by the scene.
The clip has been seen more than 2.6 million times since it was posted on December 14 of 2020. The worker is being recorded by a customer who is waiting for his fries. But the employee is busy with having her hand up her behind, and when the customer finally reminded her to get his order, she pulls her hand out of her pants and scoops up the fries with the same hand before preparing them for the customer.
Shockingly, the original video was posted by a TikTok user named Kelsey Kwiatkowski, 21, who turned out to actually be the McDonald’s employee herself.
In the end, it turned out that the whole thing was just a prank and that the man recording wasn’t even a real customer.
Many people also insisted on her being fired on the spot as she’s giving the company a bad name.
It can also be worth noting that this is not Kesley’s first time doing something that would draw negative attention while at work.
In another video she posted, she can be seen dancing on top of the restaurant counter, while in a third clip she is smoking a cigarette.
Hoax or not, are the TikTok views really worth all the negativity? Because these stunts can definitely come back to bite Kesley on the butt (oh the irony).
