Well-known comedian and actor, Kevin Hart, 40, is reported to have been hospitalized with ‘major back injuries’ on Sunday as a result of a car accident in Calabasas, Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Hart was being driven in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda just after midnight on Sunday by Jared Black on Mulholland Highway at the time of the accident.
However, there was one more passenger in the vehicle- Rebecca Broxterman, a celebrity personal trainer.
It is announced that the driver had lost control over the car after making a turn, resulting in it going off the road and then rolling down an embankment.
Reportedly, Black and Broxterman were trapped in the car while Hart was able to escape, enabling him to find help.

As a result of the crash, both Hart and Black suffered ‘major back injuries’ and were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Rebecca Broxterman, who is also the fiance of the driver, Jared Black, was not substantially injured.

Patrol Officers conclude that the consumption of alcohol was not a factor in the car accident.
