‘It’s working!’ Video shows bridge made for wildlife in use by deer, bears, and mountain lions
UTAH, UNITED STATES: A beautiful bridge built especially to help wild animals get across the interstate safely is working like a charm.
Some say it looks like a scene out of ‘The Lion King.’
Utah’s Division of Wildlife posted an incredible video on their Facebook page, showing all kinds of animals, including bears, moose, deer, mountain lions, coyotes, and squirrels, crossing the bridge over the busy highway.

Who else agrees that there needs to be more animal bypass highways built?

The post read:
“It’s working! Thanks to the Utah Department of Transportation and Utah State University for monitoring the Parley’s Canyon wildlife overpass this year.
As you can see, the 2nd year of this overpass has been successful at helping wildlife safely migrate over busy Interstate 80 and helping motorists be much safer as well.
Please keep off of this overpass. Thanks!”

The special bridge meant only for animals was built in 2018 and is situated over I-80 near Salt Lake City.
According to reports, its construction cost $5 million. The goal is to keep wildlife safe from speeding vehicles.
Moose, porcupines, deer, and even bears used the bridge to cross the highway last week! https://t.co/jwnAPHof4G
