In Italy, a Lamborghini transported a kidney more than 300 miles away in only two hours.
The distance of 303 miles, which usually takes about 6 hours, was passed for a third of that time by an Italian police Lamborghini Huracan. As Unilad reports, the superfast police car delivered the kidney from one hospital to another in only two hours while driving at an average speed of 145mph.
After purchasing the Lamborghini in 2017, the police customized it specifically for these kinds of operations. The high-speed vehicle has a refrigerated trunk and a defibrillator that makes it perfect for the task that is usually performed by helicopter.
The starting point of the vital trip was in Rome.
It finished at the Gemelli University Hospital in Padua.
The local police have shown their gratitude to the people who made the strikingly fast kidney delivery possible on Twitter.
Grazie alla nostra @Lamborghini Huracan abbiamo trasportato in tempo il rene di un donatore per il trapianto a una persona

In their “Thank you” post, they wrote:
“Thanks to Lamborghini Huracan, we delivered a donor kidney for transplant to a person in time.

With the average speed of 145mph in mind, the smooth journey seen in the video attached to the Twitter post seems unreal.
It remains unclear why the usual helicopter was replaced by a Lamborghini Huracan in this particular case. However, it definitely proved to be an excellent practice for suchlike vital donor transportations.
