An injured stray dog walked right inside a pharmacy to ask for help.
Banu Cengiz, a pharmacist from Turkey, was stunned when a wounded stray pooch literally asked her for help. The pharmacist, who is also a dog-lover, recognized the cry for help in the poor stray’s eyes.
As per Sunny Skyz, security footage shows the injured dog standing expectantly by the door. When Cengiz approaches the canine, instead of showing fear, it shows her its wounded paw.
İstanbul’da patisi yaralanan sokak köpeği, gittiği eczanede yardım istedi. Yaralı köpeği tedavi eden Eczacı Banu Cengiz, "Yüreklerinde insan sevgisi, hayvan sevgisi, doğan sevgisi olanlar kapısına gelen bu canlıya müdahale ederdi" dedi. pic.twitter.com/rYy7OoWq1j

Talking to The Dodo, the dog-loving pharmacist said:
“She was looking at me. I said, ‘Baby, is there a problem?'”

Cengiz then saw the unfortunate stray was bleeding from a small cut on her paw. The kindhearted pharmacy worker immediately took the matter into her own hands. She first cleaned the wound with antiseptic and, when the bleeding stopped, gave the dog antibiotics.
Luckily, Cengiz quickly earned the pooch’s trust. She shared:
“When I was done, she laid down as if to thank me. She was saying, ‘I trust you.'”
The benevolent pharmacist added:
“People should teach their children to love and respect animals and nature. Then we can all live together in a beautiful world.”
