If Your Crush Rarely Texts You It Could Mean More Than One Thing…

We tend to excuse people in our lives for things we cannot quite comprehend. If you ever spend ages waiting for a message or you had your crush decide not to go out without last minute with a lousy excuse, or you’ve been ditched so they can hang out with their friends, you know it’s not a great feeling.

Waiting for a crush to text you back for days can be a shattering and heartbreaking experience.

But maybe their excuses are valid. Maybe they had to work late or they really were busy with something important and couldn’t respond. But let’s be real, if you have shown your crush that you’re really interested in them and they’re rarely contacting you it means that they have more important things to do and people to see than you. If they truly were interested, they would make time no matter what.

But don’t think that the delay in contact as necessarily a rejection.

You crush might have feelings for you but they might have some issues in life currently that don’t allow them to enjoy themselves the way they would want to.

Maybe they have a personal life issue in need of solving and are under too much stress for dating. Don’t rush to assume that the fault lies in you.

Another thing is, rather than waiting for signs that they might be interested, approach them straight on and tell them how you feel.

It is highly likely that showing some guts when it comes to expressing your feelings will earn you their respect and they will like you even more. Don’t take too long to express it. A simple “I like you” would do the job. Come what may after that.

And while it can feel safer to just wait for signs and hints, if you focus your energy into forming a stronger connection with your crush, you will deserve to know whether they have feelings for you too.

Whatever the answer may be, at least you tried and you can now move on without having to waste any more of each other’s time.

It’s time to stop being afraid of rejection, and become a stronger person by being more brave and direct with the people you like.
