It seems like it has become a tendency for people to believe liars over those who are doing all they can to be truthful.
Maybe this is because we want to believe the flowery lies so much that we get buried underneath them while at the same time knowing that sooner or later they will come to light.
I am personally tired of trying to catch people from falling into this trap. If that is the path you have chosen, then you should not be complaining when the consequences come back to bite you. My eyes are open and I have done everything in my power to open yours too.
Even though you can sense that things don’t add up, you keep on following the sweet lies blindly, and I have honestly had enough of it.
The liars you keep shielding will eventually take their masks off and when that time comes I will no longer be here to help you. I will have moved on with my life.
And while it might be difficult for me at first, I will follow my gut’s advice and stop wasting my energy on people like you. You should be smart enough not to fall prey to manipulators. I could not make you believe me, even though I desperately wanted to.
Unfortunately, I cannot do all the work for you.
All I can do is point you towards it and pray that you will one day accept it as it is. The only one who can truly help you is YOU. And while I may stay angry at you for a long time for refusing to trust me, in time, my pain will subside.
One day the fog will clear away from all those people who poisoned your mind and maybe then you will finally come to see them for who they truly are.
Honesty has sadly become rare in our broken world.
And that is why people are becoming more and more susceptible to believing the pretty lies coming out of the mouths of ill-intentioned people.
There’s one thing you, the reader, should keep in mind going forward…
You don’t have to feel guilty for not being able to open someone’s eyes to the truth. All you can do is try your best, and if that doesn’t work, simply carry on with your life, WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE.
