It’s alright. I am more than able to handle my own problems, deal with hardships, and swim through the tsunami of life.
I have always been a fighter, so I know how to take care of myself. I know what I need to do to come out of the darkness and find happiness. I know what I must do to find peace and how hard that journey will be. But I don’t mind. I’ve always found a way out. And I just know it will work out this time too.
I don’t need a savior.
I can deal with this on my own. As long as I breathe I will keep on falling and rising, time and time again because that is the only way to learn and grow. No matter how difficult life may get, I will face the storm and treat it like nothing more than a cold shower.
I know that I’ll make it if I keep on fighting for what I stand for and I will keep on working tirelessly for the things that warm my heart and my soul. I will do everything necessary to reach the life I always dreamt of.
The one thing I want to ask of you is to be true to yourself.
To be there for me. To be by my side. To be my best friend, my soulmate, and my all… And to accept me for who I am.
I need you to be the safe haven that I can enter after a tiresome day of fighting life’s hardships. I need you to be the safe place that I have been searching for all these troublesome years. I need you to hold me tight and comfort me when I am at my lowest. I need you to assure me that you will always be by my side and love me with the same intensity as I love you.
I need you to be my guiding star and wildest motivation.
I need to know that you’ll always have my back when I find myself in the darkness. I need to know that I can fully trust you.
That is all I am asking for.
