Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been put on the cover of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2021.
"In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle," writes @chefjoseandres #TIME100 https://t.co/2Cg39BKj1B pic.twitter.com/FhFmAW9UH1

Earlier this year, the couple shocked the whole world with their “bombshell” revelations in an interview with the talk show giant Oprah Winfrey. During the scandalous discussion, Meghan opened up about the cruel way the Royal family treated her and her son Archie, exposing disturbing allegations they had made about his skin tone.
Furthermore, Harry claimed that the Royal Family feels “shame” when facing mental health issues and is “incredibly good at covering it up” in his new show with Oprah.
Just a few months later, on September 15, Prince Harry’s birthday, the power couple has been put on the cover of the iconic magazine for their 100 Most Influential People. As Unilad reports, other names on the list include Britney Spears, Simone Biles, and Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Harry and Meghan were praised for giving “voice to the voiceless through media production” via their Archewell Foundation.

In a brief profile about the couple, José Andrés wrote:
“Springing into action is not the easy choice for a young duke and duchess who have been blessed through birth and talent, and burned by fame. It would be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent. That’s not what Harry and Meghan do, or who they are…
Hand in hand with nonprofit partners, they take risks to help communities in need—offering mental-health support to Black women and girls in the U.S., and feeding those affected by natural disasters in India and the Caribbean.
In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle.”
Although Harry and Meghan are the only royals on the list, it includes leaders like U.S. President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Junpig, and Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar.
