You can now get paid to binge-watch horror movies on Halloween!
If you are a US citizen over the age of 18, you have a chance of getting $1,000 for watching horror movies on Halloween night. Cable TV, collaborating with Hig Speed Internet, is looking for a special candidate that will be required to stream horror movies of their choice for 24 hours and live-tweet throughout the movie marathon, 9GAG reveals.
It's spooky season! We’re teaming up with @TeamHSI to pay one horror movie enthusiast $1000 to watch a 24 hour marathon of the scariest movies. For more information and how to enter, visit the link below… if you dare! https://t.co/diApIdzrPb pic.twitter.com/HDHucpU5Zx

Calling the position ‘Dream Job,’ Cable TV explains:
“We want a self-starter because you get to decide what to watch. Also, 24 hours is only 1,440 minutes, and most movies are only 90–120 minutes. That’s only 12–16 movies. So real-deal horror dorks, who fantasize daily about curating a horror film marathon, will need time to pare down their lineups.”
If you weren’t interested so far, you should be now! Not only will the applicant receive a $1,000 check, but they will also be given Halloween candy and a $50 Starbucks gift card.
What movies would you watch if we paid you $1000 to watch horror movies for 24 hours straight? Apply below! @CableTV https://t.co/U56mKoGtOs pic.twitter.com/k61avhUSPw

The site goes on reading that all they want from the person they choose is to live-tweet the whole experience. The perfect candidate should love watching horror movies and must be a ‘self-starter’ as they will be choosing the films themselves. They explain:
“The sick-cessful candidate is a self-starter with an insatiable lust for nightmare fuel. When others say ‘Nope,’ you say, ‘Hell, yeah.’ You can stay up all night. You’re a US citizen over the age of 18.”
Of course, there’s a little catch in the application form. When applying, you need to write a 100-word entry about your passion for the genre. However, if you are a real horror movie admirer, this shouldn’t stop you from giving the job a chance.
