Yes, it may sound like it’s nothing new under the sun. But, trust me, affirmations do work and they are the best thing you can do for yourself. If you want to transform your life, you must start reprogramming your brain and training it to work in a new way.

4. Stop comparing yourself to others

What other people do and how great or terrible their life is is none of your concern. Just as it shouldn’t be any of their business what you chose to do with your life. Stop comparing yourself to others. Your journey is your own. Follow your bliss, and learn from your adventure. Comparison will only stagger your progress.

5. Stop doubting your abilities

You shouldn’t talk down to yourself. Self-awareness is healthy, but don’t criticize yourself too much. How do you expect to flourish in life when you’re constantly telling yourself how stupid and talentless you are? Believe in yourself and learn to love who you are. You just need to believe.

6. Be more forgiving to yourself

Everyone makes mistakes and that includes you. After all, you’re just human. But guess what? You are the only one who can fix them. So please stop putting yourself down. Quit the self-blame and just forgive yourself because there’s always tomorrow. You can always make it right, don’t forget that.

Love yourself. Believe in yourself. You are beautiful, both inside and outside.
