Elton John surprises people at a London’s International station with touching piano performance
At the beginning of 2016, the talented artist has donated a piano to St. Pancras in London.
Sir Elton John played a dazzling performance while promoting his album “Wonderful Crazy Night”.
He amazed everyone at London’s St Pancras International station.
Many Twitter photographs and videos show the crowd being delighted by Elton John playing in the middle of the station. It’s clear that the passionate piano performance has reached the hearts of all of the onlookers.
When the Rocket Man singer finished his show, he left a note on the pano, saying:
“Enjoy this piano. It’s a gift. Love, Elton John.”
Later, Sir Elton John posted a photo in his Instagram account, with the words:
“Surprise!! I popped into St Pancras International to christen the Yamaha piano which I donated to the station. Now everyone can have a play.”
He also added a second photo showing the note he left on the piano. Alongside the photo, he paraphrased a line from one of his best pieces, ‘Your Song’.
“My gift is my song and this piano’s for you.”
Recently, the beloved artist posted a video showing his appreciation of all the wonderful things that have happened to him during 2019.
The video is in the spirit of the time when all of us are evaluating the good and the bad that we’ve experienced and achieved in the past year.
“Merry Christmas, everybody, and thank you for making 2019 probably the most successful year of my career. Wow!”
Indeed, 2019 was incredible for Sir Elton John. His ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour is breaking box office records everywhere.
Earlier, in Spring the ‘Rocketman’ movie came out and got amazing reviews. In fact, Taron Egerton who plays Elton John in the film won the Hollywood Film Award for Actor of the Year, and the movie has three nominations for the Golden Globes in 2020.
Elton John is also grateful for the successful release of his autobiography “Me” this fall. He was also named in Billboard as the greatest male artist of all time.
But most of all, he is truly grateful for his fans who have been supporting him every step of the way and making him feel so happy every time he gets on stage.
