A cheating husband was infected with coronavirus on a secret vacation to Italy with his mistress.
While he is quarantined because of his condition, his wife, also self-isolated, has no idea how he caught the disease.
The man confessed to public health coordinators in the north of England how he got infected and told them about his confidential, devious break across Europe. Apparently, he told his wife he was away on a business trip in the UK. The woman is unaware of her husband’s insincere deeds.
When the unnamed patient, a man in his late 30s, went to the hospital after showing symptoms of the disease, tests revealed he has COVID-19. He shared with his doctors that he had an affair with a woman, but he refused to reveal her name.
The cheating man’s wife is currently self-isolated at their affluent home in the north of England.
She still believes her husband caught the infection on a business trip. A source reported to The Sun:
“This patient is the talk of public health officials. His case would be funny if it wasn’t quite so serious. The man confessed what he’d been up to in Italy, and that his wife has no idea. She thinks he just picked up the disease on his business trip away. Although the patient admitted to medics what had happened, he said nothing would persuade him to name his mistress.”
Luckily, despite the man’s infection, he is expected to survive the epidemic.
Unfortunately, he’s about to face a much serious challenge, admitting what he did to his wife, who is still completely oblivious about the situation.
The source adds that the man thought he had a perfect alibi to carry out his secret relationship. However, he never believed he would have to reveal it to the whole world because of the coronavirus cataclysm. Now he seems to be much more concerned about the future of his marriage than his own health.

At least he managed to get home before all the flights to and from Italy were canceled. Hopefully, doctors will stabilize his health on time, and he would be able to confess his affair to his wife himself.
