Since the first time they met, Jackie Rogers knew that Spanky and Roman, her two loving dogs, were going to be best buddies for life.
Today, two years after, they have become so attached to each other that it’s as if one can feel what the other is feeling.
When Roman got sick recently, Jackie’s CCTV captured Spanky pulling his bed closer to his bestie to provide him with extra comfort.
Spanky is younger, so he looks up to Roman and learns from everything he does. A month ago, Roman’s ear was swelling, seemingly due to an infection. Without wasting precious time, Jackie took him to the veterinarian, who concluded that Roman had a hematoma in his ear.
Sadly, the closest available date for a medical procedure was in 3 weeks, which meant that Roman was going to have to endure a long period of pain and suffering.
It didn’t take Spanky long to realize that something wasn’t quite right and it was obvious to everyone that he was deeply worried about Roman’s health.
Spanky spent his days with Roman cuddling him gently. As time went on, Jackie started to worry that Roman might not even make it until his doctor’s appointment. She decided to take him to the veterinarian to lift his condition up a bit. But seeing how Spanky was desperately hanging on to his friend, she decided to take him along.

Jackie was told that she cannot enter the premises due to coronavirus guidelines, so she and Spanky waited in the car for 20 minutes, during which he was weeping for his companion.
He was completely broken.
Eventually, Jackie decided to install a ring camera in her living room so she could check on the situation while she was at her job. And when she opened the screen to see what was going on, Spanky was sitting in the corner, watching over his best friend. He seemed overly worried. The next time Jackie checked on them, Spanky did the unexpected.

The loving dog was pulling his bed across the room to provide some additional comfort to his dearest.
Roman knew what Spanky was doing for him and he got in bed to cuddle with his carer.
All of this transpired at around 10 a.m., and when Jackie returned home in the evening, she found the sweeties in the same position. They spent the whole day sleeping side by side.
It is easy to see that these angels have a special bond.
And they are so lucky to have each other!

as many of you know Roman has an ear problem right now and he’s absolutely miserable & not himself, so spanky brought his bed over to him to sleep on 😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺
