Barber Moves Cancer Patient To Tears As He Shaves Off Own Hair In Heartwarming Viral Video

People on TikTok were in for quite the emotional surprise when they stumbled across a video of a man who captured the moment he had his head shaved following chemotherapy.

In the video, a man named Neftali Martín is having his head shaved after losing some of it to the effects of chemotherapy treatment during his struggle with lymphatic cancer, according to Indy 100.

Martín, who also works as a barber, decided to shave his head in the best place possible – the barbershop he works at, Lords and Barbers in Alicante, Spain. And his dear friend and colleague Joel Ortega González was happy to oblige.

All ready to go, Martín set up his camera to record the whole thing, and he later shared the video on his TikTok page, @neftabarber.

But as soon as his friend finished the job, he suddenly turned the clippers on his own head and cut off all of his hair in an act of true solidarity.

And that’s all it took for Martín to start shedding tears.

People who saw the clip were touched by Ortega’s incredible act of friendship.

Martín also expressed his gratitude for Ortega’s support in a post he made on Instagram.

” You are not alone’ those were the words of my great friend and coworker…”
“…immediately afterwards, he shaved his head telling me that until mine grew back he was going to continue shaving with me. For those who do not know him @imjooeel is not just a co-worker, for me he’s a brother. I love you bro❤️”

Indy 100 were also incredibly supportive of Martín.

“We want to travel this path with you, together as we have always been. We want to show you what true friendship is, because we are all one.”
“For the moments that we have passed and those that we have left to live. What the barbershop unites, let no one separate it.”

Get well soon, Martín!
