The animal shelter created Tinder accounts for their four-legged romance-seekers with the help of a professional advertising agency.

A total of 15 animals already have their profiles set. One of them is this adorable black & white cat named Captain Kirk.

Jillian Moss from the animal shelter told Reuters:

“The response is insane, it’s exploding everywhere!”

Benjamin Beilke, who is coordinating Tinder communication, added:

“We hope that these animals really find a new partner, a ‘purrfect match’ in the long term and not just for a few weeks. There aren’t only lonely souls among humans, but there are also a lot of lonely souls among animals.”
