Men do funny things when they have a crush on someone, and, sometimes their signals can come across as a little weird.
In fact, you can even start believing a guy hates you if you don’t know exactly how to tell whether he likes you and translate the things he’s doing accurately.
But be sure: if a man does any of the following things, he’s been hoping to connect with you on a deeper level.
1. He looks at you like he’s being hypnotized when you’re not looking
You catch him gazing at you with his eyes full of wonder, but only when he thinks you aren’t able to see him.
2. He laughs at everything he says
Also known as nervous laughter, this is what happens when a guy freaks out over a girl he likes. If he laughs at everything from disliking soft drinks to the ‘stupid weather’, he is likely worried that you might think he’s a nerd.
3. When you talk about the things you look for in a man, he tries to fit into that category
This funny way of showing that he is desperate for your approval can sometimes be hard to notice.
For instance, if you mention another man’s cool sense of humor, he might jokingly say, “Hey, I can be funny, too.”
4. He opens up to you on a deep level
You dive into a meaningful, intimate conversation about his difficult past. He opens up to a point where his eyes start to fill with tears and then, all of a sudden, he switches topics and tries to bring the conversation back to something more casual.
5. He goes crazy with his phone
This happens when a man starts sending unexpected texts as soon as you stop answering. It could be anything from telling you he wishes you all the best, to mentioning that he just got that new project of his going, to just sending a funny meme.
Whatever it may be, he is fishing for your attention. And if you like him too, you should give him a little encouragement.
6. He never told you about his feelings…
But you heard from his friends that he’s really into you and often talks to them about you.
7. He doesn’t miss a chance to poke fun at you
This is a game that some guys might play when they want to get to the next level with you but are too afraid to tell you how they feel.
And even though it may seem childish, this behavior is often a man’s final stand against admitting he has fallen for you head over heels.
8. The way he acts has turned into attention-seeking craziness
If he is often trying to shine by talking about his accomplishments, or if he’s doing crazy stunts in which he might end up hurt, don’t worry he’s just trying to impress you.
9. If you ask him whether he likes you more than just as a friend, he blushes and denies it
Men don’t normally turn red when they’re getting romantically approached by women they have no interest in, so, there you go.
10. You have a feeling…
People’s gut feelings rarely lie. And that is exactly why we should listen to them more.
