A woman named Thea Loveridge recently shared a chilling story on her TikTok account. Responding to the challenge “Tell me you’re petty without telling me you’re petty,” she opened up about that one time she faked her cheating boyfriend’s funeral.

It happened shortly after she found out her partner was having an affair with his ex-girlfriend while she was pregnant with his child. Instead of choosing the path of sorrow and depression, Thea chose the path of revenge. As Newsner notes, the plot she came up with was dubbed “pure evil,” and there is a good reason for that.

At the time Loveridge discovered she was cheated on, she had already given birth to her child. In the meantime, her partner “ended up going to jail” for assault, so his social life was halted.

Thea took advantage of the situation and told the other woman, who was unaware of the man’s whereabouts, that he had passed away.

She explains:

“After I’ve had our son, I found out that he was cheating on me the whole time I was pregnant with his ex-girlfriend, who caused all this drama in our relationship. And he ended up going to jail shortly after. She was messaging him, trying to figure out where he was, all confused why he wasn’t talking to her, so I messaged her and told her that he was dead.”

Apparently, the mistress bought the lie, but to make it a bit more realistic, Thea organized a fake funeral.

With the help of the man’s sister, Loveridge planned a funeral service to make her story look authentic.

“I got his sister to go along with it too. We had a fake funeral and everything.”

The there woman then started posting heart-tearing messages about losing the “love of her life.” But even this couldn’t soften Thea’s broken heart, so she continued backing up the story.

“It’s been three years and she still thinks he’s dead. She posts little tributes on her Facebook page to the love of her life and how she’s so sorry that she couldn’t be there when he died and save him.”

The other woman still believes Loveridge’s ex is dead.

To prove this claim, Thea showed a post written by the mistress, which reads:

“One month tomorrow u left. U said goodbye to your demons. There was nothing anyone could do. This was ur peace. If I could have done more I would have but I know u left knowing I always had ur back and always loved you. Rip Scott. Forever my last love xxx.”

The startling story-telling video was viewed more than 5 million times on TikTok.

Thea also has posted several videos, answering viewers’ questions and giving more details of her unusual act of revenge. Commenters were quick to point out: “This is pure evil,” adding: “I absolutely LOVE it.”

Some asked Loveridge how come that in such a long period of time, no one told the other woman that the man was not dead. To this, she replied that her ex was aware of her scheme and decided to “go along with it.” So, he actually never tried to reach out to her and tell her the truth. Thea adds:

“Last I heard, she still thinks he’s dead.”
