Woman Stopped For Speeding At 130 mph Tells Cops She ‘Needed The Toilet’

People make up all kinds of things when it comes to excuses for speeding, but the driver in this story truly thought out of the box…

Police in Derbyshire made a social media post about a strange speeding incident they encountered.

On July 28, the cops pulled over an M1. Mercedes G Wagon which was going between 100mph and 130mph.

And when they asked the driver why she was traveling at such a high speed, the answer she gave surprised them.

In an online statement the police said:

“M1. Mercedes G Wagon spotted at excess speed. Varying between 100 and 130mph, measured to an average of 113mph. The unsupervised provisional licence holder driving it claimed she was driving fast as she needed the toilet. So fast she missed the services.”

However, it turned out that her excuse of needing to use the bathroom didn’t work in her favor as her car was seized.

People online were also curious about the woman’s provisional license. Many are wondering how the insurance policy for the car works, while others are just surprised that a newbie would be trusted to drive illegally in such an expensive car.

This particular model is powered by a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and can get to 60mph in just 4.5 seconds. Needless to say, one can easily get carried away when putting their foot on the gas.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit has yet to tell us what consequences for the driver will be.
