Video: Adorable bird shows mad singing skills, and the Internet is obsessed

This TikTok sensation will steal your heart. A cockatiel just went viral for its astonishing singing talent!

Mushroom, a grey-feathered cockatiel from Memphis, is the newest Internet bombshell, thanks to his incredible talent for music.

In a TikTok video shared by Mushroom’s owner, Lena Wallace Black, the tiny bird can be heard singing “Ooo, ooo, baby,” delivering it so emotional it sounds like a 90s R’n’B song. No wonder why the cockatiel’s touching performance has already been viewed more than 800,000 times!

Many of the TikTok users who hopped into the comment section to express their awe for the talented bird said Mushroom was “better than any current pop stars” and that he “doesn’t need autotune.” Others suggested he has been “listening to Usher or something,” which inspired him to sing a song of his own.

Meanwhile, suspicious commenters noted it may not be Mushroom’s voice at all. As per Unilad, under a comment expressing disbelief, Lena wrote: “I wasn’t trying to be sneaky but here we are.”

She later posted another clip of Mushroom singing Britney Spears’ hit “Oops!…I Did It Again,” and it’s probably the cutest and most hilarious thing you’ll see today!
