Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a Brazilian man thinking he is Superman.

Luiz Ribeiro de Andrade, a Brazilian Superman impersonator, tried to perform a stunt that got him hit by a bus. The comedian recorded himself while trying to use his superpowers to stop a moving vehicle.
However, as Comic Sands notes, the bus did not stop, but it did hit the guy instead.

Thankfully, the 35-year-old man got up unharmed. Which, according to him, proved that he was “really made of steel.”
Speaking to F5 News, Ribeiro said:
“It’s a stunt I always do, but this time it almost turned into an accident, and it wasn’t serious because the hand of God was there…I didn’t feel anything with the knock.”

In the video, the Kal-El imitator also joked the vehicle’s brakes were “not working,” but he later apologized, saying he had made an error in judgment. Ribeiro explained:
“I went to the bus company so that the driver would not be penalized. There was no problem with the brakes.”

The Brazilian Superman has been doing this stunt since last year(at least).

A video from March 2020, shows the man all dressed up in a super-suit while walking through the streets of Aracaju without wearing a mask at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
Following his recent incident, the bus company owning the vehicle that hit Ribeiro issues a statement stressing “the importance of attention to traffic, taking care of all the necessary precautions.”
