Badass, a word well deserved for women who have had the rug pulled from under their feet and still stood strong. Their presence is undeniable and illuminating.
They are unique, one of a kind – each with a crown that bears the battle scars of their own unique story. Badass women are the women who know their worth, and if you cannot step up and match it they will leave you with a taste of sweet ash upon your lips.
These women are the women who don’t give a f*ck anymore.
They are rare, like an already cut diamond, priceless. They have withstood the misfortunes of life, and understand that life is a series of unpredictable events. They were not born under a lucky star or chosen by the most high. They were tumbled and turned like a river stone, each tumble making them smoother and stronger.
Strong women are made of experience, courage, fearlessness and wisdom.
When you come face to face with a strong woman you will notice something different in their eyes, it’s a fire, a wild fire that burns bright, so bright that one glare can ignite a fire within your very being, illuminating every fibre of your being.
Strong women are the ones we go to for advice in life and in love. They are the ones who have picked themselves up off the ground after being knocked down. They realize that even flowers can bloom in the dark and that feelings and emotions are like waves, you choose which ones to ride and which ones to let go. They know that worries come and go and that focusing all your energy on them is a waste of precious time.
When you meet a strong woman you will undoubtedly realize these 5 things:
1. They don’t give a f*ck about what other people think about them and their life:
One of the most important things to realise is that that people will always have things to say and ideas cultivated within their mind about you. Strong women don’t bother with these people because they know exactly who they are and where they are going in life.
2. They understand the importance of breaking off toxic relationships;
One cannot breathe in an environment where there is no oxygen. You need to surround yourself with people who vibrate on a higher frequency, people who are driven and motivated. It’s in these circles that you can flourish as a human and in succeed in life. Hanging around people who are negative will only make you negative and bring you down.
3. They understand that fitting in is not important;
There are more important things in life and fitting in is not one of them. She follows her own rules and leaves the stereotypical ideas created by society behind. By not fitting in she instead stands out from the rest.
4. They especially don’t give a f*ck about gossip;
Strong women are too busy building their lives and taking the needed steps to succeed in life to worry about the petty gossip that goes around. Gossip, is negative, and to a strong woman, there is no place for negativity in her life. Instead, she focuses on her own happiness and wellbeing as well as being a positive influence in other people’s lives.
5. They understand the importance of self-love;
Like I mentioned before, strong, badass women were not born under a lucky star or chosen by a divine power, they have been through rough and tough times and have survived. It was the tough times that paved the way for the strong woman she is today, and in those times she learned the importance of self love and happiness.
When you begin to love yourself for all that you are, including your flaws you make way for happiness to cultivate, and soon you will realize that happiness is self made. Once you cultivate it you can begin to share it unconditionally with those around you.
