Shocking pregnancy scan of staring ‘devil baby’ scares a young mom to be

It’s true that for many moms and dads to be, the first ultrasound is one of the most emotional experiences on the path of becoming a parent, as they lay eyes on their unborn child for the first time.

However, for one young mom from Richmond, Virginia, the first scan was quite the devilish experience. Pun intended.

For her 24-week gender scan, the 17-year-old Iyanna Carrington was in for one hell of a surprise. Pun intended, again.

The 17-year-old’s midwife revealed the gender of the baby to her and the dad: it’s a girl! However, when she was handed to see the ultrasound picture in order to see the baby’s cute little face…the atmosphere darkened a bit.

You may ask why? Well, because it was a pretty odd sight to witness.

Staring very intensely from the screen- there it was, a face from the very depths of hell! With eyes wide open combined with a sneaky, demonic smile…this is definitely something you would not want to see from the child inside of your very own womb.

Fortunately, the midwife assured the parents, Iyanna and Raleek, that the ‘demon-like’ face was indeed normal. No exorcism or priests needed.

Iyanna afterward shared the hilarious (and a bit creepy, let’s be honest) picture of the scan on Facebook, adding jokingly that she already loved her devil of a daughter very much.

Iyanna said:

“I’d never seen anything like it. I was going to see whether she was a boy or girl. I love this devil baby so much already. They showed her face and she looked normal, then the nurse confirmed she was girl, but I knew that deep down already. Then they put it back on her face and she was just looking right at me like that.”

I said ‘she looks like a ghost’ in the doctor’s office and the doctor said ‘yeah, that’s very [normal]’. She looked a bit crazy.

She also added:

“Most babies hide from the camera. She looked towards straight at me and she scared me a bit because the room was dark. I don’t know why she looked like that. Some people from the internet thought she was fake, but that’s my real life baby there.”

“The dad was there too. He was shocked by the news that she was a girl, because he has two sons and he thought it would going to be another boy. We were just laughing at the scan. You can see her little nose on [the other image]. You can tell she’s beautiful really.”

So, congratulations are in order for the parents to be! Good luck as well, as parenting could be one hell of a ride. (Pun intended, as per usual).
