Man jailed for 3 years after having intercourse with chickens
Rehan Baig, 37, has been jailed for 3 years after having intercourse with the family’s pet chickens.
- Baig pleaded guilty to offenses including having intercourse with animals and making indecent images of children.
- His wife, Haleema Baig, was given a six-month suspended sentence after she admitted to filming her husband.

Baig pleaded guilty to several offenses including intercourse with chickens.
The man has been sentenced at Bradford Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to several offences. According to Birmingham Live, the man “admitted three counts of making indecent images of children, three counts of possession of extreme pornography, three counts of sexual intercourse with an animal and two counts of possession of controlled drugs.” Haleema Baig, the man’s wife, was also given a six-month suspended sentence after she admitted to having filmed her husband while he had intercourse.
Computer equipment was seized from Baig’s house.
National Crime Agency officers had reportedly executed a search warrant at Baig’s home in Bradford. When computer equipment was seized, 49 indecent images of children were found. What is more, 11 of these images were in the most serious category as some featured 6-year-old children. Birmingham Live further reported that the officers also discovered a “”significant” quantity of extreme pornographic images, including a number of “first-generation, homemade movies” featuring Mr Baig, and occasionally his wife, engaging in sexual activity with animals and saved under the file name “Family Vids”.”
Judge Richard Mansell QC sentenced the couple.
The judge commented on the acts, claiming that they “would make any right-thinking member of society sick to their stomach.” In addition to this, he described the man’s actions as “depraved, perverted and despicable.” After explaing that the man’s actions had resulted in the death of the chickens, the judge spoke to Baig saying, “The pain and suffering you inflicted on these animals must have been horrific.” While Baig’s wife admitted three counts of aiding and abetting sexual intecourse with an animal, she explained that she been coerced into doing so.
Baig was placed on the sex offenders’ register for life and his wife’s six-month sentence was suspended for 18 months. She is required to attend 20 days rehabilitation and has also been placed on sex offenders’ register for a period of 7 years.
