Our bodies do incredible things every minute of every day. Life is truly a miracle when you look at all of the intricate little pieces that have to be in place for us to do something as simple as blink our eyes. Some of these processes are so intricate, and so minute that there is no way to actually see them work. That’s where Drew Berry comes in.
According to his bio on Ted.com : “Drew Berry is a biomedical animator whose scientifically accurate and aesthetically rich visualisations reveal the microscopic world inside our bodies to a wide range of audiences. His animations have exhibited at venues such as the Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Royal Institute of Great Britain and the University of Geneva. In 2010 he received a MacArthur Fellowship ‘Genius Award’.”
