The people you surround yourself with are people you are investing energy in.
And the more of that energy you give them, the more they will either help you grow or break you down.
If you want true happiness, you must avoid wasting your energy on toxic individuals. Those people simply do not deserve the goodness that you have to offer. And if they are not helping you become a better human being, they are making you worse, and that’s that.
Being happy does not mean having as many people as possible around you, it is about picking out the purest and most genuine people and growing together with them. In your life, you will come across individuals who are going to do all they can to use you for their own personal gains and those people do not deserve even a minute of your time.
Oftentimes these people can even be members of your own family or people you once trusted, and you don’t realize who they truly are until they leave a burning mark on your heart.
And these people will do whatever they can to stay in your life so they can keep on manipulating you. What you need to do is break free from their influence and become the person you were destined to become, surrounded by people who genuinely care about you.
You owe nothing to these people and you don’t have to keep letting them hold you back in any way at all.
You are the master of your own life and you shouldn’t have to be afraid to take charge of it, no matter what others may think.
And yes, sometimes you might, at first, feel bad for removing them from your life but once you get this behind you you’ll feel so much better. You cannot change people, and they are either good or bad for your wellbeing. Accepting this reality is crucial for moving on and getting your life together.
If you have people around you who don’t hesitate to badmouth other people around you, it is likely that they’re talking foul behind your back too.
And that’s a good place to start when it comes to clearing up the negative and toxic people out of your life. But know this, some toxic people are much more sneaky and hard to detect. Paying attention to what they say and whether they follow through on their promises is an excellent way to weed them out from the rest.
If you have people in your life who you can feel are draining the positivity out of your system, you should not feel bad for leaving them behind without much explanation. You don’t owe toxic people anything. In time, they will figure things out on their own, and if they, at some point in their lives, change for the better, then great for them.
Our lives are not eternal, and we all need to make the best of the time that is given to us.
So, do not let anyone who is using you or trying to manipulate you bring you down. You are in full control of your own destiny and you should take charge of it once and for all.
Living a happy and meaningful life is not as far-fetched as many make it out to be. Once you find your own path and live your life the way YOU want to live it, nothing can stand in your way to reach a blissful state.
Be proud of who you are, and don’t let anyone take the joy of life and your dreams away.
