‘Black Lives Matter’ supporter arrested after photo shows him kneeling on toddler’s neck

A black man has been arrested and may be charged with a felony for kneeling on the neck of a 2-year-old toddler in a photo widely shared on social media, as per Clark County’s Sheriff’s Office. 

The abuser, who authorities identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Jackson, has been arrested on a probation violation and remains in prison until Wednesday afternoon, online jail records show.

The sheriff’s office made clear that a case against the man has been presented to the prosecutor’s office who will “provide a determination on the scope and breadth of the felony charges” that Jackson will face in this case, Clark County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Kristopher Shultz said in a press release. Authorities who are currently working on the case did not detail the charges that might be held against Jackson.

Deputies revealed an investigation was started Tuesday after they were notified about the picture, which shows Jackson holding his knee on the back of a baby’s neck.

The little boy can be seen crying in the photo while another person holds his hands behind his back. The caption on the photo reads “Blm now mf.”

Investigators contacted the mother, her child, and Jackson.

The boy was transported to a local hospital for a check-up, and thankfully he did not suffer any injuries from the incident, according to deputies.

“Subsequent interview with the mother revealed that she was unaware of the photo having been taken, or its contents, until she had been informed by other parties,” Shultz said.
