Of all of the videos that are floating around on the Internet, there are some that are more meaningful than others. Sure, a funny cat video is often times the medicine to cure a Monday morning, but it’s not exactly prolific in its message. You wouldn’t think that a 2-minute and 23-second video based on a classic video game could have a message as powerful as this one does, but trust me – it is worth the watch.

The following simple video titled “We Go Forward” from PipocaVFX follows the exploits of an 8-bit character as he makes his way through his video game world. Throughout his journey, our hero faces obstacles like gaps to jump and fruit chunking monkeys that try to deter his progress, but when he comes to a gap that he can’t jump he is faced with a decision.
